The Oklahoma softball program will host its annual Meet the Team Banquet at 6 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 1, with dinner to follow at 7 p.m.
Coach Patty Gasso will give a preview of the season, while a silent auction and player autographs also part of the event.
The banquet at the Oklahoma Memorial Union in Norman is open to the public. Tickets are $35 for adults and $25 for children 12 and under. OSU's Chionuma honored
Oklahoma State wrestler Chris Chionuma was named the national wrestler of the week by TheMat.com for his performance against No. 10 Ethen Lofthouse of Iowa in Sunday's dual in Stillwater.
Chionuma, ranked No. 15 nationally at 184 pounds, upset the All-American Lofthouse, 3-2, tying the team score at 12 and propelling the Cowboys (8-0) to an 18-12 victory.
