Oklahoma scene: Sooners close out home wrestling schedule Sunday vs. West Virginia

Both Oklahoma track and field teams combined for 12 victories in the 13th annual J.D. Martin Invitational Duals on Saturday at the Mosier Indoor Track Facility in Norman.

In total, seven men and five women won their respective events.

Tia Brooks set the event record in the women's shot put with a throw of 61 feet, 6.75 inches. Sarah Tolson also won the women's weight throw, which the Sooners took the top five spots in.

Wayne Wells and Landon Sharp each had wins in the long jump and the high jump.

Rachel Bolton won the women's pole vault, while Everette Favor won the men's pole vault. Alisa Jenkins and Tre' Lethan also each won in the 60-meter hurdles. Freshman Allen Eke also claimed the 600-yard title with a 1:13.42 performance.

Also, Hilary Krein and Molly Ferguson also finished in the top two spots in the women's mile run, while Andrew Weaver and Kyle King did the same in the men's.
