Texas A&M guard Peyton Little will transfer to OU for the fall 2013 semester, Sooners women's basketball coach Sherri Coale announced Monday.

Little averaged 15 minutes in 35 games last season as a true freshman for the Aggies, averaging 4.5 points and 1.2 rebounds. The 5-foot-11 guard will sit out the 2013-14 season, per NCAA rules, and have three remaining years of eligibility after that.

Little was a top-25 prospect nationally in the recruiting class of 2012. Her uncle, David, played college hoops at OU from 1979-83.

Oklahoma State had a two-round total of 577 on Monday and stood in second place at the Big 12 Men's Golf Championships in Hutchinson, Kan. The Cowboys trailed Texas by six strokes. OSU, Texas and TCU were the only teams to finish play Monday due to darkness. The remainder of the second round will be played at 11 a.m. Tuesday; the third round is set to start at 1 p.m.

Texas' Brandon Stone led all individuals with a 3-under-par 137. Talor Gooch of Oklahoma State was second with a 139.
