Oklahoma scene: UCO loses weather-delayed game to Central Missouri

*The Oil Capital Racing Series sprint car event at Brill's Motor Speedway in Meeker on Sunday was canceled due to a wet track. OCRS spokesman John Lemon said the race will not be rescheduled. The card at Brill's Speedway was the last of the season. Jamie Passmore of Rose had already clinched the season championship.

COWGIRLS TIE BEARS

Both teams had near misses Sunday as Oklahoma State and Baylor finished a Big 12 soccer match in a 0-0 tie in Stillwater. OSU goalkeeper AD Franch notched her sixth shutout of the season and 38^th of a stellar career. Oklahoma State (10-4-3 overall, 1-3-3 Big 12) will play at the University of Milwaukee next Sunday, and then end its regular season Oct. 26 against Texas Tech in Lubbock.

*Renae Cuellar, Jessica Johnson and Emily Bowman scored goals Sunday as Oklahoma beat TCU 3-1 in a Big 12 soccer game in Norman. OU (6-7-4 overall, 2-2-2 Big 12) never trailed in the game. Sooners goalkeeper Kelsey Devonshire was working on a shutout until Brittany Slyman scored unassisted with less than nine minutes remaining in the match. OU plays at West Virginia at 6 p.m. Thursday.
