Virginia Tech had goals from four players Sunday afternoon and coasted to a 4-1 soccer victory over Oklahoma in Blacksburg, Va.

Ashley Meier scored 3:52 into the match, then Katie Yensen added a goal about 30 minutes later to give the No. 15-ranked Hokies all they would need.

Oklahoma (4-7-4) cut the deficit in half, 2-1, when Katharine Nutman, scored at the 77:11 mark. But Virginia Tech put the game out of reach with goals from Jazmine Reeves and Ellie Zoepfl five minutes apart.

OU returns to Norman for its last home game of the season, 7 p.m. next Sunday against TCU. The Sooners are 0-2-2 in the Big 12; TCU is 5-7-1 and 0-3-0.

DELACRUZ LEADS COWGIRLS

Gessenia DeLaCruz collected five RBIs over two games Sunday as Oklahoma State split a fall softball doubleheader against Arkansas. The Cowgirls lost first game 8-5, and then won the nightcap 6-1 behind DeLaCruz's three-run homer. The first-game loss is the only setback of the fall season for OSU, which plays Eastern Oklahoma State Junior College at 6 p.m. Tuesday in Stillwater.
