The Sooners won two of three at Texas Tech last weekend, moving into seventh place in the Big 12 — good enough to make the conference tournament at AT&T Bricktown Ballpark May 21-25.

While another key road series awaits this weekend at Kansas, OU must first contend with the Shockers.

First pitch is set for 7 p.m. in the first meeting of the season for the teams, who were rained out of an April 9 matchup in Wichita. The game will be televised by Metro Sports Communications on Cox channel 7 in Oklahoma City and Cox Channel 3 in Tulsa.

The Shockers are 33-9 overall, while the Sooners are 28-17-1.

OU won the only game a year ago, beating Wichita State 5-4 in Norman. The Sooners hold a 7-3 series edge in games played at Mitchell Park, while the Shockers lead 8-1 in Wichita.
