The poll, released Tuesday, has 2008 NCAA runner-up Memphis as the unanimous preseason favorite to repeat as league champion. UAB was chosen second by the coaches and will be led by C-USA's preseason player of the year selection Robert Vaden.

Doug Wojcik's Golden Hurricane made an impressive run to the C-USA Tournament title game and then onto the College Basketball Invitational crown last season, finishing 25-14.

The junior tandem of center Jerome Jordan and guard Ben Uzoh were both selected to the C-USA All-Tournament Team.

Three selected for OBU Hall

Oklahoma Baptist University will induct three athletes into its Athletic Hall of Fame in November.

Softball player Destini Anderson, men's basketball player DuJuan Brown and men's track and field athlete Desire Pierre-Louis make up the Class of 2008.
