GUTHRIE (AP) — U.S. marshals have arrested a man wanted in connection with the death of an Oklahoma City resident whose body was found in Logan County.

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation said Friday the U.S. Marshal's Fugitive Task Force found 26-year-old Juan Bernardo Garcia in south Oklahoma City about 2:45 p.m.

OSBI spokeswoman Jessica Brown says investigators identified the victim as 24-year-old Abraham Russell, who was found in a ditch by a passerby last week. Investigators say he died of a gunshot wound.

Authorities found Russell's missing pickup truck in the parking lot of a church Thursday night.

Prosecutors have charged Alejandro Cowns with first-degree murder in the death. Court records show Cowns didn't have an attorney when he made a court appearance on Thursday.
