Blazers add forward to roster
The Oklahoma City Blazers added veteran forward Brian Passmore to their Central Hockey League roster on Wednesday and announced that forward Graham Dearle has retired.

Passmore, a 5-foot-11, 180-pounder from Mississauga, Ontario, was a seventh-round pick by the Minnesota Wild in the 2000 NHL Draft.

•Elsewhere: Central Oklahoma hopes to set an NCAA Division II single-game attendance record tonight when the Bronchos' volleyball team opens the season against Oklahoma Christian. Admission is free to the 7 p.m. contest, which is being held at Wantland Stadium. The record is 2,071 fans, set last season by Washburn, Kan. ... Kyle Flinton of Quail Creek Golf and Country Club won the PGA South Central Section Professional championship recently at Oakwood Country Club. Flinton shot 197 over three rounds, beating Tim Fleming of the Oklahoma City Golf and Country Club by 10 strokes.
