STILLWATER — Rain and lightning forced postponement of Oklahoma State's game against Texas on Friday night, with the Cowboys leading 3-1 in the bottom of the second inning.

Game 2 of the weekend series will be continued Saturday, beginning at 1 p.m., as part of a doubleheader at Reynolds Stadium.

OSU, 19-5 overall and 1-2 in the Big 12, scored three runs in the first, all with two outs. Randy McCurry's bloop single scored Robbie Rea and Zach Fish for the first runs. And following a passed ball and a walk, McCurry scored when Texas left fielder Ben Johnson dropped Victor Romero's fly ball.

The Longhorns struck for a run in the top of the second when C.J. Hinojosa drilled a leadoff home run.

Texas, 16-9 and 2-2, won Game 1 of the series, 8-5, Thursday.

Both games will be available to watch free online at youtube.com/osuathletics.
