Oklahoma State guard Markel Brown was named the Big 12 Player of the Week on Monday by the conference.

Brown had averages of 18.5 points and 6.5 rebounds per game in the Cowboys’ wins against Delaware State and Colorado last week. He logged 23 points and 11 rebounds in a 78-73 win over No. 20 Colorado for his third-career double-double.
