Officially, OSU's next game is the regular season opener Nov. 9 against UC Davis at Gallagher-Iba Arena.

Tip time for that game is 8 p.m., the back half of a doubleheader with the OSU women, who play Cal Poly at 5:30 p.m.

Before then, however, the Cowboys are scheduled for a scrimmage — Sunday against North Texas if Twitter banter among players is accurate — which is allowed by the NCAA, but can't be publicized, reported on or open to the public or the media.

Lob Stilly still thriving

The Cowboys' “LobStilly” movement, a take off on the Los Angeles Clippers “Lob City” moniker attached to their highflying dunks, was back on display Thursday night.

Also familiar was Brown leading the way with several jams, including a breakaway, one-handed 360-degree spin dunk that wowed the crowd.
