Democratic leadership announced

Senate Minority Leader Sean Burrage on Monday announced the leadership team for the Democrats in the Senate. Burrage, D-Claremore, will be re-elected to his post when the Senate meets on Organizational Day, Jan. 8. Burrage named the following senators as assistant Democratic leaders: Sen. Roger Ballenger, Sen. Jerry Ellis, Sen. John Sparks and Sen. Charles Wyrick. Additionally, Sen. Tom Ivester will be the caucus chair; Sen. Susan Paddack will be the caucus vice chair, and Sens. Earl Garrison and Al McAffrey will be the Democratic whips.
