Are there any running back prospects coming in that would provide depth if Joe Randle goes pro?

You've still got Smith, Roland and Muncrief, obviously. But I'm pretty sure you mean recruits. Corion Webster, a three-star prospect from Atlanta, Texas, is the only RB commit right now, but I'm sure coaches would like to add one more, especially if Randle goes pro.

With Michael Harrison and Tracy Moore coming back, we have a lot of depth at receiver. Do you think that drives anyone to transfer due to lack of playing time?

The chance of someone transferring is always there. I wonder if someone like Kevin Johnson wishes he hadn't left, based on all the injuries at WR this season. He could have become a starter this season, based purely on necessity. The good thing is a lot of those receivers are still young, so they may have to sit behind Harrison/Moore for one season, and then it'll be their time to take over. That's kind of the normal protocol.

So who's a person of interest to replace Bill Young, assuming he decides to call it a career?

I think first you have to look at the guy already on staff, Glenn Spencer. But as far as folks outside the program, it's obviously tough to attract big-time names to coach against Big 12 offenses. I've heard the name Gene Chizik thrown around, but in nothing more than a rumor sort of way, because he's available.

Do you see any let down from the coaches attitude for the up coming the bowl game and are they excited more on recruiting than they are about the bowl game?
