Tickets to the 2012 Oklahoma State Fair go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday, officials announced. This year's fair runs Sept. 13-23.
“The Oklahoma State Fair has been a place for friends and family alike to come together and make new memories since it began in 1907,” said Tim O'Toole, president and CEO of Oklahoma State Fair, Inc. “We at the State Fair strive to create an environment where you and your family can enjoy time spent with one another, and for a great value.”
Premier attractions returning this year include Disney On Ice and the PRCA Xtreme Bulls Tour.
Disney On Ice Presents “Dare to Dream” features “hair-raising moments” from Walt Disney Studio's hit animated film “Tangled.” New and classic princesses will frolic in the French quarter with Tiana from “Princess and the Frog,” and the story of “Cinderella” will be retold.
Audiences will witness an aerialist act with Rapunzel's golden locks, shimmering gowns that twinkle and twirl during Cinderella's royal ball, a lighting display that illuminates all the fireflies in Tiana's New Orleans bayou and a grand finale with all the Disney princesses.
Disney On Ice Presents “Dare to Dream” will be playing 10 shows Sept. 13-18. Regular tickets range from $14 to $40. Fairgoers can save $4 on all upper level seats for opening night. Group rates for 20 or more are available for select performances. Disney On Ice ticket prices include an outside gate admission ticket when purchased by Sept. 12.
An additional gate admission ticket will be required if purchased on or after the first day of the fair. Gate admission tickets are free for children 5 and younger, $5 for children ages 6-11 and $9 for adults (12 and older).
