College football's top broadcast crew of Brent Musburger, analyst Kirk Herbstreit and sideline reporter Heather Cox will call the nationally televised game.


Musburger, a Northwestern University graduate, 74, has worked on the network level for 40 years. He worked for CBS from 1973-1990, including hosting “The NFL Today,” and then joined ESPN/ABC in 1990.

Herbstreit, 44, a former Ohio State quarterback, has broadcast Saturday night games with Musburger since 2006 and has been as an analyst on ESPN's “College GameDay” since 1996. Heather Cox, 43, a former standout volleyball player, joined ESPN in 1994 and serves as a reporter for coverage of the NBA, college football, college basketball and the WNBA.
