Here is a look at Oklahoma State's 21-3 win over Mississippi State by the numbers:

2: First downs by Mississippi State in the second and third quarters combined.

3: Points by Mississippi State, fewest allowed by OSU against a major-conference opponent since the 12-0 shutout of OU in 1995.

3: Sacks by OSU. Emmanuel Ogbah had one, and Caleb Lavey, Shaun Lewis, Tyler Johnson and Calvin Barnett each had a half sack.

3: Number of Bulldogs with more yards receiving than OSU's leading receiver, Josh Stewart, who had 39 yards on four catches.

5.9: Average gain per run by OSU tailbacks, who combined for 148 yards on 25 carries. In the same number of carries, MSU tailbacks had 100 yards.

12: Third-quarter first downs by OSU. The Cowboys had just 10 in the other three quarters combined.

73: OSU offensive plays. The Cowboys averaged 78 a year ago, but Mississippi State controlled the clock much of the game.

125: Rushing yards for J.W. Walsh. No Cowboy quarterback had reached the 100-yard rushing barrier since Zac Robinson gained 144 against Baylor in 2007.
