Oklahoma State football: Dana Holgorsen says Clint Chelf 'has come a long way'
Here is a look at what players and coaches were saying after Oklahoma State's 55-34 win over West Virginia.
“Last year was a lot of fun, just because of how far we went and the players I got to meet and learn from. But this year, with me being able to produce more and be able to do more for the team, I like how things are going right now.”
Linebacker Caleb Lavey on overcoming difficulties this season:
“We're a relentless team. We've had some setbacks. We've had some stuff happen to the team. But we're a team that's going to push through it.”
West Virginia quarterback Geno Smith on the loss:
“It's a tough loss. We've lost three in a row. We cant' find a way to win, we're finding ways to lose. Somehow, someway, we have to bounce back. We have three weeks left, and we have to pick ourselves up and get back to work ... Losing one is tough, losing two is tougher, but losing three — something that has never happened to me — is heartbreaking.”
Holgorsen on his team's mistakes:
“We can't make very, very, very simple mistakes. We made junior high mistakes. When you make junior high mistakes, you're not going to win very many games.”
