Oklahoma State football: Fan turnout about the only thing that went well for OSU vs. Baylor

UNIFORMS: C

The Cowboys' combo of gray helmets, white jerseys and orange pants was one of the first not-so-great looks since first introducing their mix-and-match uniforms last season. The problem? No gray in the jersey or the pants. Made the helmet feel disjointed. Had the Cowboys' worn last year's gray helmets that had the more orange OSU logo, it might've worked better.

PASS RUSH: D

The Cowboys managed no sacks and only three quarterback hurries. Credit Florence, an extremely mobile quarterback, with eluding some of the pressure. Still, it's difficult to believe how quickly this aspect of the Cowboy defense has changed. Two weeks ago against Texas Tech, the defensive front had its best game of the season with lots of pressure on Seth Doege. And most of the pressure came in non-blitzing situations. The Cowboys never came close to getting nearly as much pressure in their last two games.

RUNNING PRESIDENT: A

Baylor students have a pre-game tradition of running onto the field and creating a human tunnel for the team. Leading the crowd Saturday: Baylor president Kenneth Starr. You know the 66-year-old for leading the Bill Clinton-Monica Lewinsky investigation, but he displayed some excellent foot speed. Well done, Mr. President.

OSU FANS: A

Gotta give it up to Cowboy fans. They turned out well in Waco. There were an estimated 3,000 OSU fans.
