The Oklahoma State football team's season opener vs. Florida State on Aug. 30 will kick off at 7 p.m. and be televised on ABC.

The game will be played at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

When the Cowboys take on the Seminoles, it will mark the third time that OSU has opened a season by facing the reigning national champion. The Pokes started 1965 by taking on 1964 champ Arkansas and started 1995 by battling 1994 champ Nebraska.

This will be the second year in a row OSU has opened its season with a nationally-televised neutral-site opener. The Cowboys claimed a 21-3 win over Mississippi State in the AdvoCare Texas Kickoff in Houston to start the 2013 season.

The 2014 AdvoCare Cowboys Classic marks Oklahoma State's third appearance in AT&T Stadium, as the Pokes concluded the 2009 and 2013 seasons by playing in the AT&T Cotton Bowl Classic both years.
