He was replaced by Clint Chelf.

On OSU's opening possession of the second half, Lunt was nailed by K-State defensive end Meshak Williams just after releasing a screen pass to Joseph Randle. Lunt laid on the turf for a moment, before getting up slowly.

He remained in the game, completing a 27-yard pass to Blake Webb before throwing an interception on the next play.

Once on the sideline, Lunt appeared groggy and was given constant attention by team doctor Val Gene Iven. Late in the third quarter, Lunt was escorted to the OSU locker room.

Cowboys coach Mike Gundy declined to address Lunt's condition, leaving the quarterback's status unknown.

Lunt's final stats: 11-of-20, 184 passing yards, one touchdown and three interceptions.

UP NEXT: WEST VIRGINIA

The Cowboys return home to face West Virginia, which lost to TCU 39-38 in double-overtime Saturday.

The Mountaineers are 5-3 overall and 2-3 in the Big 12.

This will be the first Big 12 meeting between the two teams in West Virginia's debut season in the conference. The Mountaineers are coached by former OSU offensive coordinator Dana Holgorsen.

COWBOYS GO DEEP, AGAIN

When Lunt hit Austin Hays for a 54-yard touchdown pass in the first quarter, it marked the Cowboys' fifth TD toss of 40 or more yards this season.

And OSU has three touchdown passes of 50 yards or longer in three of its past four games.

The list:

* J.W. Walsh to Charlie Moore for 74 yards against Iowa State.

* Walsh to Moore for 72 yards against Kansas.

* Lunt to Hays for 54 against Kansas State.

* Walsh to Kye Staley for 52 yards against Louisiana-Lafayette.
