Oklahoma State football: Offensive coordinator Todd Monken not exactly happy living in 'Sooner' state

The Oklahoman's Gina Mizell, John Helsley and Anthony Slater provided live coverage of Mike Gundy's Oklahoma State football press conference via Twitter. It followed OSU's 59-21 win over Texas Tech. Oklahoma State takes on OU in Norman on Saturday.

While the head coaches from Oklahoma and Oklahoma State were keeping it politically correct during their weekly press conferences on Monday, OSU offensive coordinator Todd Monken did his best to fan the Bedlam flames.

"The bottom line is we live in the Sooner state," Monken said, "so that alone (ticks) you off quite a bit."

Monken, who's never been one to hide his thoughts (see the 2011 Year of the Quarterback special on ESPN), wasn't quite done there.

"They don't want to hear about Oklahoma State, and I sure as hell don't want to hear about them."

Monken, OSU coach Mike Gundy and selected players met with the media on Monday to advance Saturday's Bedlam game. The Oklahoman's Anthony Slater, Gina Mizell and John Helsley were there and covered the action live on Twitter.

Here is a look at what Gundy had to say during his press conference:
