“This is something that is said a lot, and it's definitely true — just the speed of the game, especially here at Oklahoma State, because you run a quick, no-huddle offense. I'd say that's the main thing.”

What were your first impressions of college?

“I like its dynamic a lot more than high school. It's not like 7:45 to 3:15 every single day, same classes, that kind of thing. I definitely like that a lot better. I like the freedom more. I think as long as you have self-discipline it'll work out for you and you won't have any problems.”

What has been the biggest change?

“Making the transition from family life to being on your own and being independent. It hits you fast, especially if you come in early. One day having to pack your bags and kind of have to start your own life.”

What are your plans for the summer?

“I'm looking forward to it being closer to the season. I'm really excited for that. This summer I'm excited for football being the dominating priority. I can focus more of my time on the sport and getting better at it, becoming more acclimated to the Big 12 style and Oklahoma State style of play.”
