Oklahoma State picked up yet another in-state commitment Saturday, when Tulsa Washington defensive end Jordan Brailford committed to the Cowboys, according to Hornets coach Marvin Dantzler.

Brailford (6-foot-3, 225 pounds) chose OSU over a group that included Baylor, Kansas State, Tulsa and Washington State. He is No. 8 on The Oklahoman's Super 30 list of the state's top recruits for the 2014 class.

Brailford picked up his offer from the Cowboys earlier this month.

In the 2013 class, Oklahoma State went deep into January before securing their first and only in-state commitment, Tuttle linebacker Dawson Bassett.

The Cowboys already have three for the 2014 class — Brailford and Broken Arrow standouts Devon Thomas, a running back, and Gyasi Akem, a linebacker.

Brailford is the 10th overall commitment and third defensive end for the Cowboys, joining Cole Walterscheid of Muenster, Texas, and Joyan Williams of New Orleans Edna Karr.

The commitment is nonbinding. Players can sign beginning Feb. 6.
