Especially for Cooper Bassett.

Bassett, a lifelong Cowboy fan, arrived in Stillwater as a tight end, but eventually found a home on the defensive line and has become a fan favorite.

This week might be the last time my family comes up and watches a game at Boone Pickens Stadium for a long time, and it might be the last time I see a game at Boone Pickens for a long time. It's a very sad thing, but at the same time, it's pretty awesome I've had the opportunity to play here the past five years and be a part of a program I grew up loving and cheering for.

I can remember running out of the tunnel when it was on the east end zone, and now I run out from the west end zone. Being a part of the rebuilding of Boone Pickens Stadium, kind of the opening and all that grandeur. To be a part of team that went from being kind of a middle-of-the-road Big 12 team to a Big 12 champion and winning a Fiesta Bowl, it's been an awesome experience.
