Oklahoma State players and coaches on their return to Ames, Iowa for the first time since 2011:

Coach Mike Gundy: “It doesn't really bother me emotionally. That's football. That's life. That's the way things are. Unfortunately, things don't always go the way we want them to, so it doesn't really affect me. My concern is getting our guys up, getting them out of bed, getting them in that stadium and getting them started early in the game and eliminating some of the mistakes that we made in this last game to give ourselves the best chance to win.”

Defensive coordinator Glenn Spencer: “On Sunday, I asked the guys to raise their hand if they made that trip two years ago. A lot of seniors made that trip. As much as I tell them that doesn't play into it, I hope, deep down, they go up there feeling that something was taken from them last time. That's not how you prepare to win a game, but as coaches we're always looking to get an edge and motivate.”

Receiver Tracy Moore: “It's definitely gonna bring back some memories. It's gonna be pretty rough at first, but then it's gonna be kind of like a revenge feeling for me, because I didn't get to play against them last year (because of injury).”

Linebacker Shaun Lewis: “It's not a collective thought, but guys like me and Caleb (Lavey) and other guys that played down there two years ago definitely have that in our minds.”
