Here's what coaches and players are saying about Oklahoma State's 49-17 win over Baylor

OSU coach Mike Gundy on the atmosphere: “I'm convinced that our crowd and the sound affected some of the calls they were trying to make when the (play) clock runs down with five or six seconds left.”

OSU defensive coordinator Glenn Spencer on the performance: “Didn't they execute well? They bought in. We had to challenge them. We had to get in their face. We had some different personnel groups, and those guys got in their face. There's a risk that you could give up the big play. But they were focused and played with outrageous effort.”

Baylor coach Art Briles on the loss: “We were not as crisp as we needed to be on the offensive side of the ball. We played well in spurts defensively but gave up some plays, too. I thought our special teams were good, but you combine that with the opponent's backyard and a good football team, which they are, and you have a chance to have an outcome like we had tonight.”

Baylor quarterback Bryce Petty on his fall near the goal line and Shock Linwood's fumble two plays later: “It was big. That's not Shock (Linwood's) fault. That's my fault. My feet just left me a little bit and I have to finish that (run for a touchdown).”

Baylor safety Ahmad Dixon on the loss: “This is something that we did not prepare for. This is not the type of game we prepared for. We knew it was going to be tough and it was going to be a dog fight. We knew all of that. We never thought this would be the outcome. Not for a second.”
