Oklahoma State has picked up its 23rd commitment of the 2014 class, as Gonzalez (La.) East Ascension running back Sione Palelei pledged to the Cowboys following an official visit over the weekend, according to Rivals and Scout.
Palelei, who’s rated a three-star prospect by Rivals and Scout, flipped his commitment from LSU. He tweeted this Monday afternoon:
My heart opened up to OSU!! N that’s that!! You can hate me from decommitting from LSU but I feel like this the place for me

Palelei had at least 10 scholarship offers, including Arkansas, BYU, Georgia Tech, Minnesota, Pittsburgh, Utah and Washington State.
“It was a cold game and they didn’t come out with the ‘W,’ but everything was great,” Palelei told Rivals. “I got to see their offense first hand and see how my skills can benefit them and that a lot of opportunities can be opened up.”
Palelei is the second running back commitment of OSU’s class, joining Broken Arrow’s Devon Thomas.
