STILLWATER — Several Oklahoma State football season ticket prices will decrease for the 2011 season. The price of approximately 20 percent of the seats in Boone Pickens Stadium will decrease.
Ticket prices had been a major concern for many people in the Cowboy fan base as several had expressed the inability to afford tickets to OSU home games.
“Our fans have asked for more pricing options,†athletic director Mike Holder said in a release. “This plan reflects the athletic department's effort to listen to them.â€
Approximately 12,000 seats will be available at a reduced rate. There will be 14 different season ticket prices at OSU for the 2011 season.
“We wanted to extend as many varied price opportunities to our fans as possible,†Holder said. “Our goal is to give everyone an opportunity to attend football games in Stillwater.â€
In addition, OSU offers a payment plan which allows fans to complete their purchase over eight months if the tickets are purchased in December.
