The Big 12 announced Tuesday that Oklahoma State’s season opener against Mississippi State in the Texas Kickoff Classic at Reliant Stadium in Houston will kick off at 2:30 p.m. and will be televised nationally by ABC and ESPN2.

Conference USA previously announced the Cowboys’ contest at Texas-San Antonio on Sept. 7 will kick off at 11 a.m. and will be televised by Fox Sports Net.

OSU’s home opener against Lamar on Sept. 14 will kick off at 6:30 p.m. and has been designated as its “retained” game, meaning the school can determine TV plans for that contest.
