Police have made an arrest in a January hit-and-run accident that killed an Oklahoma City man. Christopher Volz, 42, was thrown from his pickup after being struck by a sport utility vehicle driven by Cesar Cruces, 39, about 3 p.m. Jan. 29 at W Reno Avenue and N Pennsylvania Avenue, Master Sgt. Gary Knight said. Volz was taken to OU Medical Center, where he died. Cruces was arrested Tuesday, at a restaurant where he works, on complaints of manslaughter, leaving the scene of a fatality accident, no state driver's license, no insurance verification, causing an accident resulting in death while not licensed, disregarding a traffic signal and failure to yield to a traffic light.
