Oklahoma State quarterback Clint Chelf and safety Daytawion Lowe picked up Big 12 weekly honors for their performances in the Cowboys’ 49-17 rout of then-No. 4 Baylor Saturday night.
Chelf, the Offensive Player of the Week, completed 19-of-25 passes for 370 yards, three touchdowns and zero interceptions and also had a 4-yard touchdown run and a 48-yard catch on a trick play.
Lowe, the Defensive Player of the Week, spearheaded the Cowboys’ dominance against the nation’s No. 1 offense, collecting 10 tackles and a pass breakup.
OSU has now set a conference record for the most individual players to pick up a weekly award with nine and has tied the 2000 Oklahoma squad for the most total weekly conference awards with 12. Additionally, at least one OSU player has earned a Player of the Week honor after every OSU win so far this season.
