Oklahoma State quarterback Daxx Garman suffered an apparent knee injury in practice Friday and was carted off the field, according to multiple sources. His availability for the Orange Blitz on Saturday and practice the rest of the spring is unknown.

An OSU source said coach Mike Gundy would address Garman’s status after the Orange Blitz.

Garman, a transfer from Arizona, has been running second-team at quarterback this spring, behind J.W. Walsh.

A source said Garman was not hit but fell awkwardly as he was scrambling. OSU officials tended to Garman for about five minutes, after which he was not able to place weight on his leg. He was helped off the field and carried away in a cart.
