Oklahoma State recruiting notebook: Cowboys still pursuing running backs

With Corion Webster of Atlanta, Texas, as the only true running back currently committed, the Oklahoma State coaching staff has continued to keep an eye on other players they could add at the position.

For that reason, he could be a player a program like OSU would look to sign, then place in a junior college, with hopes of having a leg up in his recruiting in two years.

All-America game nears for Samples

Dallas Skyline receiver Ra'Shaad Samples represents the only Oklahoma State commitment expected to play in the major All-America games in the coming days.

Samples is on the roster for the Under Armour All-America game, which will take place at 4 p.m. Friday at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Fla., televised by ESPN.
