For the first time since the mid-2000s, Oklahoma State is considered a legitimate Final Four threat.
And because of that expected hype, also for the first time since the mid-2000s, Stillwater will play host to the hoops version of ESPN's ever-popular College Gameday.
The on-site show will descend upon OSU's campus for the March 1 game against Kansas, the Big 12's other headliner, for a late-season game that many believe could be for the conference title.
Tip will be at 8 p.m., but there will be an in-arena show beginning at 10 a.m.
"We are thrilled that ESPN's College GameDay has decided to come to Oklahoma State this basketball season," coach Travis Ford said in a press release. "It is both a unique and wonderful experience for both the fans and our team. Every Saturday, college basketball fans wake up and tune in to ESPN to see where GameDay is going to be. On March 1st, it's going to be in a rowdy Gallagher-Iba Arena."
It's the second time ESPN has visited Stillwater for College Gameday in basketball, with the first coming in 2005 for a game against Texas.
