Classes were canceled at Oklahoma State University-Oklahoma City and the campus was evacuated after a bomb threat Tuesday afternoon.
University spokeswoman Evelyn Bollenbach said university officials canceled all evening classes after receiving the threat.
A woman called the campus security office about 3:55 p.m. and claimed there was a bomb on campus that would explode before 11 p.m., Oklahoma City police Lt. Arthur Gregory said.
The police and fire training facility and a campus day care also were evacuated, he said. Children at the day care were taken to the administration building at the State Fair Park.
Police and security officers are conducting a search of the campus. The bomb squad has not been called to the scene, Gregory said.
