“First pass, they may go double it. The second pass, they may go double it,” Littell said. “So what they get you into is instead of running plays, you've got to make plays against them.”

TONI YOUNG NAMED ALL-REGION

The postseason honors keep rolling in for Young.

After becoming a unanimous All-Big 12 selection earlier this month, Young was one of seven players named to the Women's Basketball Coaches Association All-Region 5 team this week.

Young joins Baylor's Brittney Griner and Odyssey Sims, Iowa State's Hallie Christofferson, Kansas State's Brittany Chambers, Kansas' Angel Goodrich and Oklahoma's Aaryn Ellenberg on the Region 5 team.

Young currently leads the Big 12 in rebounding (10.1 per game) and ranks fourth in scoring (15.9 points per game).

The WBCA selected 52 total honorees from eight regions. The committee will then choose its All-America team from that group, which will be announced during Final Four festivities on April 6.
