Jones was not among teachers listed on the school's website.

The girl told police the incidents occurred during elective school hours in Jones' classroom while the door was locked.

The girl's mother told investigators Jones tried to contact the girl after she changed schools, to get her to recant stories she told friends and adults about the sexual incidents, the affidavit states.

He was subsequently stopped by police at the girl's new school for stalking, an investigator wrote in the affidavit.

Police also investigated whether school staffers failed to protect the girl after she said she attempted to speak with them while the alleged incidents were taking place, according to the affidavit.
