NORMAN — Oklahoma and Texas Tech will kick off at 3:46 p.m. Saturday afternoon after a brief weather delay.

The Big 12 Conference game was originally scheduled to begin at 2:30 p.m.

Fans were permitted to enter the stadium at around 2:20 p.m. after OU officials were notified that the weather had cleared up.

This marks the second straight Texas Tech at Oklahoma game with a delayed kickoff due to weather. On Oct. 22, 2011, kickoff was delayed 94 minutes before the Red Raiders stunned the Sooners 41-38 on Owen Field.

Texas Tech is unbeaten and ranked No. 10 in the BCS Standings. Oklahoma is 6-1 and ranked No. 15 in the BCS.

UPDATE: FOX 25 in Oklahoma City announced it will carry the OU-Texas Tech game in its entirety even if it conflicts with the broadcast of the World Series.
