A 13-year-old girl died Sunday in a Hughes County wreck, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

Tiffany Yohola, of Holdenville, was a passenger in a pickup that ran off a county road south of U.S. 270 about 11 a.m., troopers said. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

A patrol spokesman declined to release the name of the 16-year-old Wetumka boy who was driving the pickup.

A 14-year-old girl, whose name the patrol did not release, also was injured in the wreck but refused treatment.

The pickup was headed south on County Road NS 374 when it ran off the left side of the road, hit a tree and rolled onto its side.

The driver was the only one in the pickup wearing a seat belt, troopers said.
