The U.S. Small Business Administration is opening a business recovery center Friday to provide financial and counseling services to business owners affected by recent tornadoes.
The SBA provides low-interest disaster loans of up to $2 million to repair or replace damage to real estate, leasehold improvements, machinery and equipment, inventory and other business assets.
Services provided at the business recovery center include assessing economic injury, evaluating the business's strength, projecting cash flow and reviewing options for financing. All services are free.
The SBA center is a joint effort with Moore Norman Technology Center, the Oklahoma Small Business Development Center, SCORE, the REI Women's Business Center and the Moore, Norman, Oklahoma City and South Oklahoma City chambers of commerce.
