Oklahoma tornadoes: Tony Allen teaming with Grizzlies, Red Cross to collect donations

Memphis Grizzlies guard and former Oklahoma State standout Tony Allen is teaming with the Red Cross to aid tornado victims in the surrounding Oklahoma City area.


The Red Cross and Grizzlies will collect donations during Game 3 on Saturday and Game 4 on Monday of the Western Conference Finals vs. the San Antonio Spurs at FedExForum.

“Having attended college in Oklahoma, I am saddened to see what the state is going through after the devastating tornadoes,” Allen said. “My thoughts and prayers go out to all the families that have been affected. I am glad to help in any way that I can, and encourage everyone to do their part and help the victims in Oklahoma in any way possible.”
