Oklahoma travelers for bowl games may find their trips costly

A few flights remain to Phoenix and San Antonio but prices are at a premium, with many around $750 and up.

Football fans traveling to upcoming bowl games may be stuck paying high prices, travel experts say.

The lowest prices for a round-trip plane ticket from Oklahoma City to Phoenix, to watch the Oklahoma Sooners in the Fiesta Bowl, are around $400, said Rick Seaney, chief executive officer of Farecompare.com, an online travel firm.
