Voters lose their place on the rolls
To get back on list, people need to register by the Oct. 10 deadline.

Oklahomans who haven't bothered to vote in any election during the past six years may be in for a shock Nov. 4 — they won't get to vote for president.

State law, written to conform with the National Voters Registration Act of 1995, requires state election officials to purge the names from voter rolls of those who haven't voted or had any other election-related activity in the past six years.
