WHAT'S AT STAKE

Considered the preseason front-runners in the Big 12, Oklahoma and West Virginia meet for the first time since the 2008 Fiesta Bowl won by the Mountaineers. Barring a meltdown by No. 2 Kansas State, Oklahoma must win its final three games to keep its hopes alive for an at-large BCS bowl berth. West Virginia can become bowl eligible in its debut season in the conference if it breaks a four-game losing streak.

KEY MATCHUP

Landry Jones vs. West Virginia's defense. Jones has thrown for six touchdowns in his last two games after getting none in an Oct. 27 loss to Notre Dame. He is the active career leader among Bowl Subdivision quarterbacks with 15,070 yards, along with completions, attempts and total offense. The Mountaineers are last in the FBS with 344 passing yards allowed per game and are fourth worst in TD passes surrendered with 27.

PLAYERS TO WATCH

Oklahoma: RB Damien Williams. The junior is third in the Big 12 at 76 rushing yards per game. He's one of only two players in the FBS with three or more rushing touchdowns of at least 65 yards.
