— A woman was thrown from a vehicle and died at the scene of a wreck about 5:55 p.m. Thursday northeast of Mazie in Mayes County, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

Patricia Lynn Corbett, 49, of Chouteau, was thrown from a pickup that left the roadway and rolled a number of times, according to the patrol report. She was pronounced dead at the scene from massive head, trunk, arm and leg injuries.

The report listed two people as the possible driver — Kandace Gibson, 18, and Robert Wade Ramber, 27, both of Elk City.

Both were taken to a Tulsa hospital and admitted in good condition, according to the report.

The pickup was eastbound on a county road when it left the roadway to the right, overcorrected and left the roadway to the left before it started rolling, the report states.

The occupants were not wearing seat belts, Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers said.
