Broken Bow woman dies of injuries suffered in Friday wreck

Jami Kay Jacob, 34, of Broken Bow, died Tuesday afternoon at a hospital in Little Rock, Ark., the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

— A passenger involved in a wreck last week in McCurtain County has died from her injuries, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports.

Jami Kay Jacob, 34, of Broken Bow, died about 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at UAMS Medical Center Hospital in Little Rock, Ark.

Jacob was injured about 10:55 p.m. Friday just outside Idabel when the vehicle she was riding in left the road and hit some trees.

She was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle.

Jacob had been admitted to a Longview, Texas, hospital in critical condition with head, trunk and internal injuries.

The driver, Michael Ward, 30, of Valliant, was taken to a hospital with head, trunk, internal and arm injuries. has disabled the comments for this article.
