Oklahoma workers’ comp provider inches closer to privatizing

A House committee approved a bill Wednesday that calls for the state’s workers’ compensation agency to enter into a public-private partnership with plans to become a private company within five years.

The move comes less than a month after lawmakers dropped a bill that called for the sale of CompSource Oklahoma .
