2B Billy Fleming, Jr., West Virginia; .352; 1; 27

Strong all-around player shined defensively and banged out 74 hits in 50 games.

3B Sheldon Neuse, Fr., OU; .290; 7; 40

Led the Sooners in home runs and RBIs and started every game as a true freshman.

SS Donnie Walton, So., OSU; .287; 3; 31

The complete package as a shortstop and No. 2 hitter, balancing production with team-best 17 sac bunts.
