Oklahoman dies after vehicle wreck in Grady County

Robert Greene, 56, of Cushing, died Monday morning after a two-vehicle collision in Grady County, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

A Cushing man died Monday after a two vehicle accident in Grady County, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

About 5:20 a.m. Monday, Robert Greene, 56, was driving a semi-truck west on State Highway 19. A pickup traveling east went left of center and collided with Greene’s vehicle just west of Alex, troopers said.

Greene, who was not wearing a seat belt, died at the scene, troopers reported.

The driver of the pickup, Jerry Tucker, 30, of Chickasha, who also was not wearing a seat belt, was taken by helicopter to an Oklahoma City hospital for treatment, troopers said. has disabled the comments for this article.
